Congratulations to the completion of G107 Wuhan Dongxihu Section Full-Closure Sound Barrier Project!
This project covers an area of approximately 90,000 square meters, with a total length of 3.3 kilometers. It adopts a fully enclosed structure throughout, with the maximum span reaching 40 meters. It is currently the largest single project among the completed municipal full-closure sound barriers in Wuhan in terms of volume.
The sound barrier as a whole adopts a double-layer sound-absorbing structure with a composite perforated plate panel and built-in sound-absorbing materials, effectively enhancing the noise reduction effect. The metal screen body at both ends adopts an expansion structure to ensure the sealing and structural safety of the lap joint; the curved section is equipped with an arc-shaped metal screen body to eliminate the risk of light pollution. Meanwhile, 15mm reinforced acrylic plates are laid on the sides and top, which have the characteristics of impact resistance, bird strike prevention and environmental protection.
